Zoe Editorial for IMute Magazine
I really loved this shoot that I did with Zoe from Wilhelmina Hudson Valley. We were intially just going to do some test work, but after she showed up, I knew that I would have enough great shots to actually put together an editorial. I love it when creativity gets to flow freely like that.
I have a ton of stuff to put up on this here blog. I’ve been really behind lately, and I’ve been getting a ton of paid work which is really great, but it means that my social presence starts to suffer. My paying clients always come first.
One scary part of this shoot, was that I ended up getting Zoe on top of this rick
ety old roof. I was so nervous the whole time that she was going to fall right through. I noticed a big hole on one side of the roof, which I didn’t point out, because I didn’t want to make her anymore nervous. If something would have happened to her, I’m not sure what I would have done.
For these shots I went with a more natural editing style, and let Zoe carry the shots. I loved all of her expressions, and she’s just such a great model.
