First off if you’re looking for an engagement photographer take a look at my denver engagement photography portfolio.
I know it’s been a while. I keep promising to stay up on all my posting, and make sure that I post often and write new stuff, but I just keep getting so busy. This time I’m blaming it on the fact that I had thanksgiving dinner this year at my house. Yes that means that I cooked a turkey and everything. It was amazing. Great food, great family, just all around it was an absolute blast. I would love to say that I want to host thanksgiving every year, but we’ll see. I can’t quite tell if my gram is ready to pass that torch along yet or not. She was all for me hosting the dinner this year, but for some reason still wanted to make the turkey and bring it over. Gotta love a gram like that. Read more...

I hate putting all this portrait orientated shots on my blog, because I don’t feel like they work as well as the landscape oriented shots, but whatcha gonna do. For instance on this shot I did a ton of post work, hopefully none of which you can see. Fashion is weird like that, it involves so much more than the more natural look of my engagement photography. Not that I don’t do post work on my engagement photography, but it’s more about contrast and color, and less about makeup, fly aways and bone structure. Read more...

You know what I love most about photography? Fashion photography. I love the makeup, the style, the creativity in a look. I love everything about fashion photography. If it payed my bills I would do it all the time. Thing is Denver fashion photography is a little hard to get into. There really aren’t that many clients, and Denver isn’t exactly the fashion capital of the world. So with that in mind it’s hard for me to do it on a regular basis. But when I get the opportunity to I love doing it. Read more...

First off if you’re looking for an wedding photographer take a look at my denver wedding photography portfolio.
So here are some more shots from Jan and Andrews wedding. I’ve been working a ton on these shots, because they are so much fun to work on. I swear I’ve actually been smiling when I look at some of these shots. This was such a great opportunity to work under pressure, and with little preparation. It was great for me to experience what it’s like to shoot a wedding, and learn what I can and can’t do. Rarely do I shoot this many people all at once, and it was definitely a challenge to get everyone smiling, eyes open, and looking at the camera. Read more...
