Fashion Photographer Denver

You know what I love most about photography?  Fashion photography.  I love the makeup, the style, the creativity in a look.  I love everything about fashion photography.  If it payed my bills I would do it all the time.  Thing is Denver fashion photography is a little hard to get into.  There really aren’t that many clients, and Denver isn’t exactly the fashion capital of the world.  So with that in mind it’s hard for me to do it on a regular basis.  But when I get the opportunity to I love doing it.

Photography Denver

Well it’s been a while hasn’t it.  It seems like I haven’t posted anything in forever.  I really just haven’t been in the mood to do any writing lately.  Nothing I really wanted to write about.  I’m still kicking booty on my engagement shoots, and have a few random gigs coming up here and there.  Honestly though I just love taking pictures of people.  After working on this last Engagement session I realized how much I really love taking pictures of people.  It just makes me smile.

Jan and Andrew taken by denver wedding photographer

First off if you’re looking for an wedding photographer take a look at my denver wedding photography portfolio.

I feel like it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything.  I’ve felt really busy lately, but I think it’s just all in my head.  That and my throat hurt a bit so that kept me from doing the things that I really wanted to.  Like work on Jan and Andrews wedding photographs.  I have been desperately craving working on something creative.  But before I can have fun with the creative stuff I have to sort through all their images, and get ratings and stuff out of the way.  That way I can find the images I really love easily, and eliminate the ones that are out of focus, or generally off exposures.

Denver Engagement Photographer with Matt and Carrie

First off if you’re looking for an engagement photographer take a look at my denver engagement photography portfolio.

Man what a whirlwind it’s been lately.  The weekend before last I was focused on making sure that Carrie and Matt got some great engagement photographs, and this last weekend I shot my first wedding.  Of course Carrie and Matts engagement photography was easy.  Cute couple, totally in love, pshhh nothing more to ask for there.  Heck I even found a few new places to shoot around Denver that I really like.

ErinAndDavid2 Engagement Shot On Freedom Bridge

Here is another shot from the engagement shoot that I did with David and Erin.  This was when the sun was starting to peek in and out of the clouds.  We had such a funny day that day, because it was kind of raining, and kind of not.  The weather just couldn’t make up its mind.  I almost had to say that we would come back the next day to shoot more, because I didn’t want them to not have any shots without the the sun around.  Engagement pictures should be happy and fun, along with a few more serious shots.  This is one of those more serious shots that I liked the way it turned out.  It has a fashion edgyness to it that I really like, and with them all dressed in black and white the contrast is great.  This is one of my favorite places to shoot in downtown.  As it is for almost every other photographer in Denver.
