Man did I have fun with this couple. Absolute blast to work with. Annie is a flight attendant and Mike is a pilot. So these guys are a total aviation couple. I can’t imagine how much fun it would be to be able to jump on a plane like that whenever you want. These guys are getting married in Maui, which is totally cool. I’ve been there a few times, and thought it was fantastic! They’re going to have a blast getting married there! I miss those warm tropical places, especially on a day like today that’s all cold and dreary outside. Boo to that. Read more...

Well I guess winter finally decided to show up. It’s amazing how quickly the weather can change here in Colorado. I love the weather here in Denver 90% of the time. But when it gets below 0, that’s when it’s just a bit too cold for me. I can only handle so much cold, and that’s just too much cold for me. I also have managed to get a bit of a cold, which kinda sucks because I’ve really wanted to work on some photography lately. I think by me working on SEO so much lately, I’ve been able to see a bunch of different peoples photography and I’ve managed to find a ton of inspiring characters around the country. I’ve also managed to find a ton of great creative ideas that I can’t wait to try out on some of my clients. There is a great idea I have involving balloons, but I just have to figure out how to make it work on an engagement shoot. Read more...

I sure did have some fun this last weekend. I went on a food shoot out. Cooking and shooting. I was surprised to find out how hard that actually is. It takes time and patience to shoot food, it takes those same two things to cook it. So shooting and cooking is quite a challenge. My hat goes off to all you food bloggers out there. I’m not sure how you do it all the time. I would get annoyed and bored a bit to quickly and easily. Alhtough I guess I didn’t just have one dish to shoot, I cooked up 3 dishes, and photographed all 3 of them. which was certainly quite a challenge. Read more...

Well how was everyones holidays? I hope you all had a great time, good food, and good friends. I know I certainly did. It wasn’t as long as I wanted, but honestly what vacation is. I wanted to show off some recent shots I did of a rather nice little salad. It’s a vinegrette dressing, with fresh spring greens, goat cheese crumbles, with walnuts and pecans. The way that the goat cheese and craisins work together is just awesome. It’s such a good starter that really can go with almost about anything, and it’s super easy to make. I also added a rasberry and some blackberries for presentation. Read more...
