Senior Shots Denver Portrait Photography

I took a nice little hiatus this summer with my wedding, my honeymoon and all sorts of other wild and crazy things that were going on this summer.  I did however get the chance to do some senior portraits for my new cousin in law, who by the way, is a total doll.  I don’t really do a ton of senior portraits, but of course I love portrait work.  I also got a chance to learn a ton about my new cousin in law.  She’s interested in acting, and she really wants to go out to NYU for college.

Rosie and Erik Denver Photographer Shoot

Well it’s certainly be a while.  I’ve been so busy between all my different shoots.  As all my engagement couples know though…. engagements are by far my favorite.  I just love portraits so much.  The interaction between the two people about to get married are always so interesting to me.  This couple was no different.  Everyone say high to Rosie and Erik.  These guys were great.  Erik is a barber downtown and Rosie is currently a vet tech.  Here pretty soon though they are going on a hell of a trip.  They are going to move over to Scotland.  Rosie got into some killer vet school in Scotland so they are going to move all the way across the Atlantic.  That sounds like such a wild cool adventure.  I can’t imagine what it would be like to go on an adventure like that with someone.  Sounds like an absolute blast.

Austin Flower Spring Photography

Alright Alright it might not actually be summer in Austin.  But it practically is.  Ok maybe not the blistering heat, but damn this Colorado boy was a bit warm.  I recently took a trip down to Austin for some business, and man did I have fun.  70 degrees, day or night.  It was so weird walking outside at night and it being warm.  Totally crazy!  I also got just a small chance to do a bit of photography while I was down there.

Man I’ve been lax in getting around to writing another blog post.  It’s been forever I feel like.  I just wanted to throw these up real quick and give you guys a look at this shoot that I’ve been working on lately.  On another note I took another awesome trip down to Austin that was really great for me.  It was great to meet a bunch of people down there and I was sad that I couldn’t stay for SXSW.  I do really love that place.  Although I have no interest in being down there with all the heat and humidity.  I hate that feeling of being gross whether you’re all clean or not.

Wall Fine Art Abstract Denver Photography

I can’t believe how inspired I’ve felt lately.  Not only to create amazing portraits, but also to do some abstract work, which I haven’t done much of lately.  I’m finally starting to get more free time, and feel less stressed out at work, and thusly my photography prospers because of it.  I love creating, and it can be especially fun with abstracts when you have such a blank canvas it becomes difficult to find focal points, and put meaning into shots.  So instead I just try and make them look cool. Just kidding.  Even with my abstract shots I try and put “emotion” into them.  I realize that my abstract photography might not always have that “emotion” in it, or that other people might not see it, but I do.  Most of the time.  Although sometimes I do just like it because it looks cool.
