Everyone…. say hi to Angela and Derek! This couple flew all the way up to colorado from arizona just to have me shoot their engagement photos,…. alright I guess that’s not 100% true. They came up to colorado to pick out a venue for their wedding, and wanted me to do some engagement shots for them while they were up here. And man did we have some fun. They were a really nice couple. And it seemed like they were really nice to each other. I always like seeing couples that really take care of each other. It make photographing them so much easier, and the experience better for everyone including the photographer. They were so great to work with, really easy going, and up for whatever. Read more...

Man what a whirlwind it’s been lately. The weekend before last I was focused on making sure that Carrie and Matt got some great engagement photographs, and this last weekend I shot my first wedding. Of course Carrie and Matts engagement photography was easy. Cute couple, totally in love, pshhh nothing more to ask for there. Heck I even found a few new places to shoot around Denver that I really like. Read more...

So I had a another engagement shoot with a couple transported to Denver from Pittsburgh. Say hi to Carrie and Matt. They were a great couple to work with, and we had a ton of fun walking around Denver taking some nice relaxed candids. They are planning their whole wedding here in Denver, while the actual wedding is going to be in Pittsburgh. Imagine how hard that would be. They fly back every couple of weeks, and have a whirlwind of things to get done. 20 minutes for this, 15 minutes for that. It’s got to be hard. Good thing they are both so easy going. Read more...

I know, I know, I’m sure everyone is really tired of seeing more shots from this engagement session, but here’s the deal. I am really trying to work on my SEO for my site which means that I need to be adding lots of content that has the kind of stuff I want people to be looking for. Right now I’m optimizing for Denver Engagement Photographer. I would really like to become a specialist in this, because I really enjoy taking these kinds of pictures. It’s fun for me to see people who are really in love, loving life, and having a blast. So for the time being you’re going to have to listen to more of this kind of stuff until I can find a better way to optimize my website for engagement photography. Read more...

Here is another shot from the engagement shoot that I did with David and Erin. This was when the sun was starting to peek in and out of the clouds. We had such a funny day that day, because it was kind of raining, and kind of not. The weather just couldn’t make up its mind. I almost had to say that we would come back the next day to shoot more, because I didn’t want them to not have any shots without the the sun around. Engagement pictures should be happy and fun, along with a few more serious shots. This is one of those more serious shots that I liked the way it turned out. It has a fashion edgyness to it that I really like, and with them all dressed in black and white the contrast is great. This is one of my favorite places to shoot in downtown. As it is for almost every other photographer in Denver. Read more...
