Man life has been busy lately. I’ve been in Vegas for the last week. And while that was a ton of fun I’m not going to lie. I’m spent. It’s been a long week. Worked a ton, and gambled and drank until my liver finally said enough.

August 12, 2012Well it’s been another crazy week around my studio. I’ve had tons of new stuff to work on. Fun new projects. All sorts of ways that I’m trying to stay creative. It’s been a challenge for me lately. I feel a bit stifeled in my studio. I can’t just keep doing the same stuff over and over, and expect new or exciting results. I think that’s why I’ve been venturing outside my studio so much lately. I can’t wait to show off the series that I did this weekend. So much fun, and I got to work with an old friend at this point so that’s cool too. I love catching up with people in the fashion industry. It’s such a small world, and we all know each other… probably too well now thanks to facebook… but it’s certainly interesting.
So I recently got to do some fashion work for the Antoine Du Chez Spa in Cherry Creek. Which was a total blast. I love working with their creative team. It’s a bunch of extremely passionate, and very talented folks that have a blast every time they get together. They wanted me to come out and shoot their runway show, but I managed to get a few portrait style shots while I was there.

August 4, 2012See I’m already doing better staying on top of my bloggin…. I’m already patting myself on the back. I’m going to try and make this part of my saturday afternoon, is getting a few blog posts out to keep people up to date on what I’m up to these days. I’ve been hanging out with a few denver photographers and that’s been a real blast lately. It’s so much fun meeting other photographers and talking shop, talking models, lighting…. all the drama in this biz. It’s totally fun. I’ve also just redesigned my whole website. Blog not included. I’m thinking about leaving the blog for a while. I don’t really feel like changing it, and it’s a big pain, and lets be honest nobody ever really comes to this blog. At this point it’s more of a place for me to write down my experiences as a photographer so one day I can come back and walk through my work, and think about how I was feeling at that time.
